The Brownlow Medal will air on Seven and be available on 7plus, the network has confirmed.
Brownlow Medal night has arrived, and the AFL is getting ready to celebrate the league's best and brightest on the night of nights, which will be broadcast on Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus.
Held in Melbourne for the first time as a full event for the first time since 2019, one former winner and two midfield stars stand above the rest as favourites, but several more can consider themselves strong chances to be wearing the name "Charlie" around their neck.

The presentation of the Brownlow Medal for this year has been moved to the 18th of September to avoid competing with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
It is customary for the event to take place on the Monday of grand final week; however, it will take place on a Sunday for the third year in a row, following a pattern that began when the previous two years' events were moved due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The broadcast will begin at 7pm AEST on Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus (for more information, see below). The results of the first votes will be announced shortly after the broadcast.
Throughout the course of the evening, the recipients of the Jim Stynes Community Award, Mark of the Year, and Goal of the Year awards will be announced.
It is anticipated that the winner of the Brownlow Medal will be announced after 10:00 pm.
Hamish McLachlan and Rebecca Maddern will serve as hosts for Seven's live and free coverage, which will begin at 7 p.m. AEST on Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus. They will be broadcasting live from Crown Palladium.
Abbey Gelmi, Dale Thomas, and Emma Freedman will be there to cover all of the glitz and glamour as the festivities get underway on the world-famous Red Carpet.
On certain devices, including 7plus, users will be able to access the Brownlow Medal.

The winner in 2020 had another outstanding season, putting him in excellent stead to become one of the select few players to have won the Brownlow Medal twice. Contributed to Brisbane's advancement to the finals by averaging 30 touches per game and, arguably, being more damaging going forward than in 2020 Neale will have plenty of opportunities to poll because the Lions won 15 games, and he won't have much competition for votes from his teammates other than silky midfielder Hugh McCluggage because the Lions won so many games.

The midfield maestro keeps getting better and better, and this year was no exception as he averaged close to 33 disposals and eight clearances a game. This is a testament to the fact that he is one of the best players in the league. Will get off to a strong start during the Demons' 10-match winning streak, and he is a proven vote getter, having polled 31 points the previous year. The only thing that can knock them down is the competition for votes with fellow star Demons Christian Petracca and Max Gawn.

The Carlton captain was back to his brilliant best as the Blues appeared to be top-four contenders before collapsing and failing to qualify for the playoffs. Has had a tremendous start to the season and is in position to receive all nine possible votes after the first three rounds. Although they struggled in the second half of the year, they are still very much in the running for the prize. When he was suspended for two matches in round 21, his chances appeared to be hopeless; however, he was able to successfully appeal the ban, and the suspension was overturned as a result of his victory.

The gun midfielder stepped up in the absence of injured skipper Nat Fyfe to lead the Dockers into the finals for the first time since 2015, and it was the first time they had done so since 2015. During an outstanding season that earned him the AFLPA Most Valuable Player award, he averaged close to 30 possessions and six tackles per game on average. As a result of the Dockers winning 15 games during the regular season both at home and on the road, there won't be much competition for votes.

The All-Australian team will include the Gold Coast co-captain for the second year in a row after he had another outstanding season that earned him a spot on the team. Although he did not have as many possessions as he did the year before, when he received 17 votes, the Suns were victorious in three more games, which will serve him well in the future.

After garnering more than 20 votes in each of the previous two seasons, the player who will win the Norm Smith Medal in 2021 is well positioned for a strong showing in the Brownlow. Despite not reaching the heights of the previous year in terms of numbers, still managed to average 28 touches and come close to scoring a goal every game. Will have to contend with Oliver and Gawn, who both present formidable challenges for votes.
