“This scorecard's assertion of being an impartial community group is a façade for the Liberal Party,” she declared.

According to Judah, the community group, consisting of a diverse political mix and non-partisan leaders, is seeking guidance to advance their perspective.

Judah confirmed McQuestin's authorization of orange posters – more than 200 of them – displayed across front yards in the constituency, criticizing Labor and land usage plans.

Judah emphasized that everything needed authorizing. "There are more orange signs in Ashwood than every candidate combined. That doesn't happen unless the community is fired up," Judah remarked.

The Coalition recently announced that they would prioritize Green over Labor in the inner-city areas of Richmond, Northcote, and Albert Park. The outcome of the preference distribution between the final two candidates could be in favor of the Green party if enough Liberal voters voted similarly.

However, some voters in Northcote have accused Liberals and Greens of tricking voters with voting cards showing Liberal party's blue-and-white colors, prompting voters to put the Greens last. The card, authorized by an anonymous figure, Evros Evripidou, has made the Liberals flip identical preference rankings except for Labor and Green candidates.

The pamphlet states, "Not an official Liberal Party how-to-vote card," referenced in the lower corner.

Betting company Sportsbet has odds favoring the Green candidate winning with $1.75 against Labor's $2.

The Coalition has urged the Victorian Electoral Commission to investigate the matter, reportedly a "desperate attempt to sandbag Northcote.” Greens leader Samantha Ratnam and Labor's campaign spokeswoman assert the claims and said they didn't support the production or distribution of the how-to-vote card.

Moreover, the Victorian Electoral Commission has delivered cease and desist letters to candidates at pre-polling stations who have allocated preferences improperly and risk confusing voters.
